The Bachelorette New Zealand has been announced for 2021.
On Saturday, the show’s panel instagram account made the highly-anticipated announcement.
Introduced as ‘vivacious, determined, charismatic and ready to start her adventure’, the new suitress will be marketing manager Lexie Brown, 31.

Lexi is from Wellington and has claimed to that she tends to stay off dating apps and social media.
‘You will only get to know me if you know me in real life,’ she told the publication, adding that she is looking for a genuine connection.
Lexi is looking for someone to ‘do life with’, and her 18 male contenders are soon to be announced. However, due to COVID-19, the show will have no international trips.

In terms of men, Lexi said she’s looking for someone who is ‘relaxed as’ and who will get along with her father.
Having just returned from Canada, Lexi said she initially applied to the show as a joke saying that she needed a sperm donor, and was surprised to get a call back.
While she didn’t give much away, she said that filming the series was a load of laughs and she can’t wait to share it with audiences.

The show’s host Art Green describes Lexi as a ‘girl next door adventurous’ type.
‘She’s independent, well-traveled, family-oriented and intelligent,’ he said.
